Included in your ticket/table price is an arrival drinks reception, including interactive canapes, and three course dinner per person. Any other drinks required for the evening can be ordered directly via SWG3 and further information will be sent to the lead booker once tickets/tables have been purchased.



Des Clarke is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stars. Des has made a name for himself as both a highly successful comedian and as one of television’s hottest presenters.

He is familiar to TV viewers as the anchor of BBC 1 Scotland’s live Children in Need coverage and as the host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, which was watched live by a global TV audience of more than 1 billion people.

2014 was a massive year for Des. He performed live to over a quarter of a million people during the 11 days of the Commonwealth Games and hosted the live Closing Ceremony to a global TV audience of 1 billion viewers. This year he will be performing live to thousands of people again, providing entertainment and commentary at both the Six Nations rugby matches and Scotland Euro 2016 matches.

He is also a much loved voice on the airwaves and can be heard waking up central Scotland every morning as host of the Capital Breakfast Show. Des’s radio work has earned him widespread industry recognition, winning a British Radio Award and receiving nominations in both the Arqiva and Sony Awards. Des also presents the BBC Radio Scotland topical quiz show Breaking the News. 

Over the years he has interviewed some of the showbiz world’s biggest names including Rihanna, Robbie Williams, Britney Spears, One Direction and Katy Perry. Des is also well known as a celebrity newspaper columnist, and as an in-demand after dinner speaker.
