Taking place on January 24, the meeting aims to connect entrepreneurial start-ups with the established business information providers among PPA membership to discuss opportunities and share common challenges.

Key topics will include the challenge of second-round funding, spotting  risks in planned data law changes, and the pace and direction of digital publishing change.

Any publisher or start-up interested in attending the forum should contact Joe Hames, PPA Business Media Manager, by email, via Twitter or on 0207 400 7560. Timings and venue details are available here.

Joe said: “PPA Business is made up of well-established, professional businesses that can offer mentoring and guidance to help start-ups along the learning curve, and we hope that the DEN will lead to some interesting and fruitful relationships.”

The DEN is one of several new groups that have been created under the structure of PPA Business. Others include the Business Information Skills & Culture group and the Government & Regulatory Affairs.
