Partwork Publisher group PPA’s Partwork Publisher group was established in 2003. The group seeks to provide publishers with a non-competitive environment to discuss issues of common interest. The group has representatives from De Agostini, Del Prado, Eaglemoss, GE Fabbri, and Hachette Partworks. Many in the industry are unaware of the contribution made by this sector and a key aim for the group is to demonstrate the value that partworks offer to all involved in the magazine supply chain. The group is currently carrying out an industry-wide wholesale audit to ensure efficient systems for partwork titles. In December 2007 the group collaborated to create a Magazine Distribution Book (MDB) special to promote partwork titles to independent retailers around the popular January launch period. |
