Average performance of launch issues

Of those regular frequency titles that stay the course, the average net sale of the first issue was 50 per cent of the supply. 'One shots' perform less well averaging a 45 per cent sell-through. The average settledown sale of a monthly magazine is 60 per cent of the net sale of issue one. Magazines normally establish a sales pattern within the first six issues.
