The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) delivers between £200m and £400m in value for magazine publishers each year, from an investment of around £2m.

There are two types of PPA membership:

• PPA member: magazine and periodical publishers
  

  Publishers join PPA to access an information network keeping them up to date with issues that affect them, to play their part in shaping the industry's future, to meet other publishers and suppliers, to share information and best practice and to demonstrate their commitment to the highest standards in magazine publishing.

• PPA associate member: suppliers to the magazine publishing industry
  This is a way for suppliers to reach their target market, while having an official seal of approval from the industry's trade body.
  
  Associate membership benefits suppliers by developing and encouraging partnerships between trading partners and publishing companies, giving recognition to reliable suppliers and enabling them to enjoy the same services and benefits as publisher members.
