Privacy policy

The privacy of your personal data is important to PPA. The following sets out what we do and what we do not do with the information we collect using this Website:

Cookies

1. The Website will give the user, on sign-in, the option to be remembered automatically. If this option is selected, a cookie (a small piece of computer code) is sent to and stored on your computer containing a unique session identifier. The identifier is used to record site usage statistics. PPA does not recommend that the option to accept the cookie is taken if the computer is shared.

2. In a separate automatic operation the webserver will collect your IP address and details of the Website where you came from before entering the PPA Website. This information is used to:

i) Work out how many times the Website has been visited;
ii) Record which parts of the Website have been visited so we can improve the content and layout of the Website.

Paragraphs 2 i) and ii) apply to all visitors on the Website whether or not they have registered. The information collected is not linked to you as an individual unless you choose to register.

Cookies stored on your computer will automatically be deleted if you do not revisit the Website for 90 days.

Personal data

If you submit your details to PPA via this site, we may write to you about other PPA events and information, or pass your name and address to other reputable companies whose products and services may be of interest to you or your company. On each form where personal or work details are submitted, and on each subsequent email communication, a facility to unsubscribe is offered, which we will action as soon as is reasonably practicable.
