Adrian Barrick has two roles at Haymarket. He was appointed global brand director of Campaign in July 2015, in addition to his role as editorial director of Haymarket’s Brand Republic Group, where he is responsible for helping the editorial teams of Campaign, PR Week, Brand Republic, Marketing and Media Week accelerate the transition to a digital and mobile-first world. Since joining Haymarket in August 2014, Adrian has led the transformation of the UK portfolio, bringing together all of the company’s marketing, advertising and media channels under Campaign, launching Campaign in the US and Japan, and overhauling the brand in China and India. Before joining Haymarket, Adrian was UBM’s first chief content officer, where he co-developed a hybrid community-driven content model and worked with teams in the US and UK to transform titles such as Information Week, EE Times and Building. In a 29-year b2b career, Adrian has been a reporter, editor, publisher and – for four years – CEO of UBM’s Built Environment division. He has won a host of awards, including four PPA & BSME editor of the year awards, four PPA magazine and website of the year awards, and PPA publisher of the year.

Simon Caney is the editor of Garden News, the top-selling gardening magazine in the UK. This is something of a departure of him after almost 20 years spent editing sport magazines – he was previously editor of Golf Weekly and MATCH before becoming launch editor (and later publisher) of Sport, the country’s first mass-distribution ‘freemium’ magazine.
Lucie joined heat in 2003 as a freelance news reporter from a broadcasting role at Trouble TV. She rose to the position of Executive Editor in 2008, stepped up as Editor in 2011 and is now Editor in Chief across the heat portfolio (radio, mag, online, TV, heat extra). She is now also Editorial Director of commercial content across Bauer.
As well as being an innovative and talented journalist, Lucie is a multi-skilled media professional - presenting and producing for heat TV, 4music, heatworld.com, as well as her own weekend show on heat radio.
An experienced broadcaster – Lucie also appears on National TV including showbiz reporter for This Morning, co-hosting ITV2’s National Television Awards coverage, E! at the Baftas and is a sought-after media pundit and regular red carpet anchor.
She has undertaken a range of exploits - all in the name of entertainment - such as interviewing then Prime Minister David Cameron for heat and asking him important questions like whether he knew the words to ‘Let it go’ (he did), becoming Simon Cowell’s bodyguard for the day, appearing in The Only Way is Essex, co-writing an Episode of Hollyoaks, getting James Corden to strip off to his underpants for a spoof David Beckham shoot and persuading Naomi Campbell to show her the entire contents of her handbag.
Lucie also writes a blog for Grazia Daily and has written several books – including ghost-writing Joey Essex’s Number 1 selling autobiography ‘Being Reem’ and Charlotte Crosby’s number one best seller ‘Me, Me, Me’.
Guy Cocker is the Global Editor-in-Chief of Stuff, the biggest technology media brand in the world. His work has appeared on the BBC, The Independent and The Telegraph, and he regularly comments on technology for outlets such as CNN, Yahoo! and The Metro. He also launched the websites CNET and GameSpot in the UK, and was the gaming consultant for the BBC's Make It Digital series of programmes.

Rebecca has been editor of The Debrief for two-and-a-half years, after joining as Deputy Editor for launch. Before this, she was UK editor for xoJane.com and editor of handbag.com. She’s also written about dating, relationships, technology and millennials for Grazia magazine, Marie Claire, Red and Stella Magazine. Her first ever interview was with Uri Gellar, who read her mind and bent a spoon for her. She’s spent the next decade waiting for another work day as weird as that one.

Liz Martin is currently Commercial Marketing Director at Bauer Media using media, content, marketing and commercial expertise gained from 20 years’ experience of marketing, insight & research and publishing. Having started her career in book publishing as Marketing Manager at Faber and Faber, Martin moved into magazine publishing as Marketing Manager on Emap’s youth brands - Just Seventeen, More! & Bliss. She went on to become Head of Marketing on heat magazine and was instrumental in driving circulation to over 700k per week. After 4 years as Insight & Research Director, Martin became Publishing Director of Empire, MOJO, Q & Kerrang! In 2016 she moved to her current role in the commercial team.

Matt is creative director and a co-founder of Shortlist Media, pioneers of the ‘freemium’ publishing model. Matt created the design of men’s title ShortList and it’s sister title Stylist, described by Enders Analysis as “the pivotal magazine launch of the last 10 years” and has won over 50 awards for editorial, design, photography and publishing excellence, including the PPA’s highest honour: Brand Of The Year.
Prior to founding MediaFund in 1991, Piers worked at Ansbacher Media, responsible for M&A of media companies in and across Europe. Before coming to M&A, Piers was Publisher of City Limits magazine, Deputy Chairman of Zwemmers, a writer on travel, media, food and drink, Course Director at the Börsenverein, in Frankfurt, Publicity and Promotions Director for Reed Books and International Marketing Manager with the illustrated book publisher Thames and Hudson. Piers maintains his connections to the industry he serves, holding stakes in Arcadia Books Limited and The Riviera Times. He has served on music and drama boards for the last ten years.
