Nadiya Hussain to join BBC Good Food
Nadiya Hussain, the celebrity chef, food writer, author and TV presenter, is to join BBC Good Food as Contributing Editor.
Ellie Austin scored a job at Immediate Media as a Features Writer for Radio Times after graduating from the Magazine Journalism MA course at City University. Here she talks about working in the fast-paced world of a major weekly magazine and the power of a good coffee.
In a new column launching in the Christmas edition, Hussain will be writing about food, restaurants, family and friends, how to avoid stress in the kitchen and tips for planning ahead.
BBC Good Food Editor-in-Chief Christine Hayes said: "I'm thrilled that Nadiya Hussain has joined Good Food. She's witty, talented, entertaining and her column is the perfect addition to our family content.”
Hussain won the sixth series of BBC's The Great British Bake Off in 2015.
She commented on her new role: "I'm so excited about becoming Contributing Editor to BBC Good Food. In my new regular column, I’ll give my personal view of the issues faced by busy families and offer plenty of tips and shortcuts to make life a little easier.”
BBC Good Food has a total brand reach of 10 million people. Every recipe published in the magazine is triple-tested by the Cookery team.
