Empire Editor-in-Chief Terri White headlines new PPA event for young creatives

Empire Editor-in-Chief Terri White starred in the first of a new series of PPA events aimed at budding journalists and young creatives.

The event took place on October 26 at Old Street Records in London's Shoreditch, and is the first in a new series under the banner of PPA Live @ (see flyer below).

It was attended by students from the PPA-accredited journalism courses at City University and Goldsmith's University, as well as rising stars from within PPA member companies.

In an on-stage interview with PPA CEO Barry McIlheney, Terri discussed her career to date, which has included stints in the Editor's chair at Shortlist and Time Out New York as well as Empire.

Given Barry's role as the launch Editor of Empire, there was also a fair bit of conversation about the film industry.

Further PPA Live @ events are scheduled for the coming months. If you are interested in attending or finding out more please contact the Events Team.
