Air Business named PPA Strategic Partner for ninth consecutive year
The PPA has chosen the global distribution and subscriptions service as our Strategic Partner for the ninth year in a row.
Ellie Austin scored a job at Immediate Media as a Features Writer for Radio Times after graduating from the Magazine Journalism MA course at City University. Here she talks about working in the fast-paced world of a major weekly magazine and the power of a good coffee.
Since 2010, Air Business has sponsored the PPA’s events, including the PPA Festival and the PPA Awards. This year, it will also sponsor the PPA New Talent Awards on March 22.
The renewal of this partnership also coincides with the PPA and Air Business both signing the National Literacy Trust’s Vision for Literacy Business Pledge for the second year in a row.
PPA CEO Barry McIlheney commented on the continued partnership:
“It is great to be extending our already strong relationship with Air Business for the ninth year running. Having worked with Air Business for almost a decade now, I can genuinely confirm its wholehearted loyal and proactive support of publishing.
“As publishers now seek to grow their presence in new sectors, Air Business is evolving to fully meet their needs, and thus, support the dynamic growth of this sector.”
Air Business Group Managing Director Adam Sherman added:
“Having served the publishing market for over 30 years now, supporting publishers is very much at the heart of who we are as a business. We are therefore delighted to have been selected as PPA Strategic Partner once again for 2018 and are completely committed to being more than just a distribution and subscriptions supplier for publishers, but a partner who will fully support them in multiple areas as they move into new markets.”
