Exclusive Roundtable for IPN Members: The Subscription Challenge - How to build a better subscription marketing operation
Jim Bilton of Wessenden Marketing leads a roundtable discussion for IPN members to explore the challenges they face in building a bigger subscription file.
Ellie Austin scored a job at Immediate Media as a Features Writer for Radio Times after graduating from the Magazine Journalism MA course at City University. Here she talks about working in the fast-paced world of a major weekly magazine and the power of a good coffee.
DATE: July 18
TIME: 09:15 - 11:00
VENUE: PPA HQ
Building a bigger subscription file is a top priority for almost every publishing operation - whether as a shelter from the increasing volatile retail channel or as the platform for ecommerce and additional revenue streams.
Yet there are so many issues behind that aim. What should be your budget split between acquisition & retention activity? What are your best potential sources? What are the smartest ways to make subscribers pay? And do you have the subs software and the staff skills to make it all happen anyway?
Join us on July 18 at this IPN round table discussion, led by Jim Bilton of Wessenden Marketing. You’ll be able to share experiences and ideas and learn from each other, and the workshop will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
This event is exclusive to members of the PPA Independent Publishers Network and IS FREE to attend.
