WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

PPA Connect Week was a series of events aimed at events professionals in the business media and consumer magazine sectors. Our carefully-curated menu of activities was designed to support those working in operations, marketing, sales, content, and senior executive roles, providing a host of opportunities for you to network and learn from the industry's pioneers. . . and to have some fun along the way!

Sitting at the heart of PPA Connect Week was the PPA Connect Conference - a full-day of premium content at Tobacco Dock on Wednesday, July 13.

PPA Connect Launch Party

18:00 - 21:00 @ The Magic Roundabout

PPA Connect Week 2016 kicked off with a bang at the PPA Connect Launch Party! The venue was The Magic Roundabout, a brilliant new venue located right in the middle of Old Street Roundabout. Accessed via a secret staircase in the tube station, The Magic Roundabout is a unique party space, offering award-winning street food, beautiful cocktails, craft beers and great music, all in an outdoor setting. We had delicious food from Burger Bear and White Men Can't Jerk, live DJs playing a mix of disco, house, techno and reggae, and plenty of other activities to keep our guests entertained.

We will be hosting all of our activities across a variety of exciting venues in London, to offer you a unique experience at each PPA Connect Week event.

The PPA Connect Conference is being held at Tobacco Dock, Equidistant from London’s financial district, Greenwich and the Tower of London world heritage site and Tech City, Tobacco Dock marries flexibility with progressive spaces against an architecturally significant backdrop. The dock has played host to many of the UK’s leading events and awards for start-ups and FTSE-500 companies as well as exhibitions and live performances. Capitalising on its industrial origins, event spaces are pared back and stylish and can offer quayside views, natural daylight and an outdoor environment amidst one of the capital’s most technologically advanced IT infrastructures. In-house catering prepared daily by Tobacco Dock Food champions small-batch, seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers.
