Introducing your host for the evening...

Mark Watson

Mark was recently seen on Dave alongside Henning Wehn as they trekked across Brazil in the build up to the World Cup.

He has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows including his own Radio 4 show 'Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better' and BBC1’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. He is also a regular on 5 Live's Fighting Talk, Mock the Week and presented We Need Answers on BBC.

He has completed a 60-date tour of the UK, Melbourne and New Zealand and won a Fringe First for his interactive Edinburgh show ‘The Hotel’. He wrote “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” for BBC4 starring Ruth Jones and also hosted his own Five Live radio show ‘£100 Million or Bust’ as well as TV's ‘Nevermind The Buzzcocks’.

Along with all of this, he is perhaps best known for two marathon, record breaking shows at the Edinburgh festival, which lasted 24 and 33 hours respectively.

His first novel, Bullet Points, came out in 2004 to great acclaim and the next, A Light-Hearted Look At Murder, was published in 2007 to be followed by Eleven (2010) and The Knot (2013).
