Top Right Group CEO Duncan Painter is to be among the senior figures exploring strategies and technologies driving digital publishing success at this year's PPA Digital Publishing Conference.
Taking place on September 26 at The Brewery in Chiswell Street, the conference will explore the fast-changing technologies and top-level strategies behind today's multi-platform publishing businesses.
The speaker line-up of UK digital publishing specialists also includes Neelay Patel, Economist Digital’s Vice President of Commercial Product and Strategy; David Worlock, Lead Consultant at Outsell; Mike Goldsmith, Editor-in-Chief, Digital Editions at Future Publishing; and Graeme McCracken, Internet Development Director at Reed Business Information.
The conference agenda can be downloaded from www.ppa.co.uk/digital and is divided into three content streams: Data Services, Practitioner, and Digital Content. The sessions will cover key areas for digital publishers, including: app platforms, HTML5 and content aggregators; data management techniques for journalists; approaches to policing the new Cookie Law; opportunities in Big Data and data visualisation; and case studies of start-up and established digital businesses.
“This conference is a chance to really drill down into some of the key issues and challenges that our sector is facing in relation to new opportunities in the provision of data and digital content,” said Barry McIlheney, CEO of the PPA. “The agenda and line-up of top speakers will give delegates a truly three-dimensional view on digital publishing today.”
The PPA Digital Publishing Conference precedes the PPA Digital Publishing Awards. For updates on both elements of the event follow @PPA_Live on Twitter and the official hashtag, #ppadigital.
