PPA Front Cover of the Year Award 2012 – Terms and Conditions

The PPA Awards 2012 (the “Awards") are administered by the Professional Publishers Association Limited ("PPA").

1. 1. The shortlisted front covers for the PPA Front Cover of the Year Award 2012 (“Cover Award”) are available at www.ppa.co.uk/coveroftheyear.
3. 2. To vote please click on the front cover that you would like to win the Cover Award.
5. 3. Only one vote is permitted per person (which means per web browser) per day.
7. 4. By voting for the Cover Award you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
9. 5. When you vote for the Cover Award PPA will place a cookie on your web browser to log your vote. A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, including how to block cookies, please visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
11. 6) By voting for the Cover Award you agree that PPA may use cookies as outlined above.
13. 7. The closing date for votes is 12pm on 31 May 2012. Votes received after that time will not be counted.
15. 8. The winner of the Cover Award will be announced at the Awards ceremony and gala dinner on Wednesday 20 June 2012. There will be no prior disclosure.   
17. 9. PPA shall not be liable for any damage or loss suffered or incurred in connection with voting for the Cover Award, including consequential (i.e. losses which are not incurred as a direct consequence of the event leading to any claim) or indirect losses or loss of profit. This provision does not reduce or restrict PPA's liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by its negligence or any other liability to the extent the same may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law.

18. 10. PPA reserves the right to:

        a) suspend or cancel voting at any time;

        b) disqualify votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting and/or any attempt to rig the voting has occurred.

19. 11. PPA’s decision in all matters relating to the Cover Award is final and binding.
21. 12. PPA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
23. 13. These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
