Members of the PPA are invited to make a special journey to Edinburgh on September 27 to share their insights and experiences of independent publishing at a meeting with members of PPA Scotland.
Two case studies will be presented, by Kevin McCormick, Co-Founder of Wild Bunch Media and Paul McNamee, Editor-in-Chief of Big Issue, Glasgow. James Bennett from the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) will update members on changes to CLA's business licences.
Kathy Crawford, PPA Scotland Business Manager and Barry McIlheney, CEO, PPA, will also be joined by Clive Foskett, chairman of the Independent Publisher Group and Chief Executive of Signature Publishing and Helenor Gilmour, PPA Scotland chairman and Head of Brand and Consumer Insight at DC Thomson.
The meeting will take place in the centre of Edinburgh at the Strathmore Business Centre, adjacent to Waverley Railway Station. The day will include a networking lunch (completely free of charge) and will be an excellent opportunity to share ideas and talk about common issues.
