The focus was on the changing face of business media. A range
of speakers from inside and outside the business media community
discussed how B2B advertising works, through case studies,
research and analysis. The new B2B marketing programme was
launched at this event and the conference also included the
presentation of the sixth annual B2B
advertising excellence awards, which seek to promote and
salute creative and effective advertising in B2B media.

B2B media conference took place alongside the
following publishing seminars:
Wednesday 5 May
PPA Marketing presented the Consumer
ad marketing conference. The conference debated
how clients and agencies are making the most of the magazine
medium. Star speakers included Leonard Lauder (chairman, Estée
Lauder Companies) and Professor John Philip Jones (Syracuse
University). The Consumer
magazine advertising awards were presented at a special
lunchtime ceremony.
