Total Film is the latest magazine brand to partner with augmented reality company Blippar to create an interactive print issue.
The latest issue enables readers to bring the front cover and pages within the magazine to life via their smartphones and the free Blippar application.
The interactive content allows readers to turn themselves into a Total Film cover star, simply by hovering their iPhone or iPad over the cover. The image can then be shared via Facebook, Twitter or email.
Other interactive facets include an exclusive preview of Ray Winstone’s new film Elfie Hopkins, behind the scenes footage with its stars, and a look inside Total Film’s offices.
There are also commercial opportunities for readers to purchase DVDs straight from the magazine itself.
