Stuff magazine launches iPad edition

Stuff magazine launched its first edition for the iPad. The tablet edition features all the news, reviews and features found in the monthly glossy, as well as new and exclusive content. Editorial includes exclusive videos, 360-degree product photography and zoomable picture galleries. The iPad edition of Stuff is available monthly, coinciding with publication of the print edition. Current subscribers are able to download the iPad version for free for six months. New subscribers can purchase a 12-month subscription for £23.99 via In-App Purchase.


 

Radio Times appoints new Ad Director

Radio Times appointed Jacque O’Donnell as its new Ad Director. O’Donnell is currently Ad Director at Hello! Magazine and takes up her new position on 15 May. In her new role she will be responsible for advertising across all print and digital elements of the Radio Times brand and will report into Matt Teeman, Immediate Media Co’s Managing Director of Advertising.


 

Dennis Publishing unveils new MagBooks

Dennis Publishing launched two brand new MagBooks - the Ultimate 2012 Olympic Guide and the iPad for Kids. The Olympic guideMagBook includes an exclusive interview with the fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, an A-Z of sporting information and comprehensive venue information. It is available to download on both apple and android devices. The iPad for Kids MagBook is aimed at parents and children and acts as a guide through the iPad’s basic and advanced features.


 

Immediate Media Co publishes Rastamouse magazine

 Immediate Media Co announced it was publishing a new children’s title. Rastamouse magazine is aimed at pre-schoolers and is based on the popular CBeebies TV programme of the same name. The new four-weekly title is aimed at boys and girls from the age of four years upwards and the first issue will go on sale in early summer. With stories, reward charts, stickers and incentives, the magazine will contain activities for children.
