At 370 pages, it is one of the biggest issues Country Life has ever produced and comes with a gold embossed cover.

Editorial includes a collection of the magazine’s famous frontispiece pages featuring the Queen, a feature on her outfits, and an article on the 11 men and one woman who held the position of Prime Minister during her reign and their relationship with her.

There will also be the usual weekly editorial mix of property, architecture, gardens, food and countryside.

The issue includes over 240 pages of advertising, with advertisers including Mikimoto pearls, Clive Christian, Breitling, Aspinal of London, Investec, Mitsubishi and Quintessentially.

Editor Mark Hedges said: “This is one of the biggest issues in Country Life’s 115-year history with 370 pages, which is pretty remarkable for a weekly glossy magazine.

“The response we have had from advertisers has been phenomenal – in fact, we needed to increase the pagination at last minute to cater for the demand. The editorial team has also pushed the boat out and I’m delighted with the finished magazine.”

Country Life’s Diamond Jubilee collectors’ issue goes on sale today with a premium price of £3.75.
