Future has launched a new website called Creative Bloq.
The site includes the publisher’s portfolio of design websites – including Computer Arts, .net and 3D World – into a single creative network.
It is aimed at an audience with a broad interest in design including creative professionals and enthusiasts.
Content will cover a broad range of creative subjects including graphic design, web design, 3D, digital art, and photo editing.
The editorial strategy, however, will focus around search, and social referral, which means that content will be influenced and informed by what the creative community is looking for and talking about.
Fiona Tully, Publisher for Future’s creative portfolio, said: “We’re delighted to introduce Creative Bloq to the world.
“It’s an exciting step in our strategy for digital growth in the design sector, enabling us to reach out to a much wider audience of people who would never consider themselves “designers” but who are nevertheless involved in creative or design-led pursuits.”
