Condé Nast has announced it will publish Vogue in the Ukraine.
The publisher has signed a license partnership with UMH Group, one of the region’s leading media companies, and the title is expected to hit newsstands in the next 12 months.
Vogue Ukraine will be the twentieth edition of the magazine worldwide.
Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman and Chief Executive of Condé Nast International, said: “The Ukraine is ready for Vogue. Kiev is booming, and there is a strong market demand for luxury products and the experience Vogue can offer the reader.”
Boris Lozhkin, President of UMH Group, added: “A partnership with Condé Nast is a great honour and responsibility for UMH Group.
“This will take the media business in Ukraine to a new level, while the launch of Vogue has great significance for the entire luxury market.”
