The Beano is launching a multi-media marketing campaign called Dennis and Gnasher’s Golden Ticket.
The comic promotion offers readers the chance to win superb prizes from a family holiday to Universal Resort Florida, to ride-in Daleks, iPads, toys, games and adventure holidays.
Unique codes are affixed to every promotional copy of The Beano and the monthly BeanoMax title, which can then be entered on the comic’s website for a chance to win a prize.
Publisher DC Thomson said the campaign was the biggest consolidated piece of marketing activity on the comic brand for several years and the UK’s biggest for a comic.
Alongside in-store activity the campaign will be supported by TV advertising across UK children’s channels.
It will also feature online display advertising, PR and social media activity around prize winners.
