Wired has announced additional speakers to the line-up for its 2012 conference.
New additions include Saudi women’s rights activist Manal Al-Sharif, whose YouTube video of her driving resulted in a jail sentence.
She is joined by Greg Asner, a photographer and leading expert on forest carbon and deforestation, Imogen Heap, Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and songwriter and Alissa Walker, Los-Angeles based design expert alongside many others.
The first speakers were named last month and publisher Condé Nast said additional names will be announced in the coming weeks.
Wired 2012 will be held 25 - 26 October in The Brewery, London and it is the second annual conference held by the Wired brand.
