Science Illustrated magazine has launched in the UK.
Publishers Bonnier have secured distribution with all major supermarkets and high-street newsagents and the monthly title will have a print run of 40,000.The magazine has 17 editions worldwide and a global readership of over 4 million but has never been made available in the UK before.
Bonnier said it would soon be available in all digital formats and accompanied by a UK website aimed at driving subscriptions.
Publisher Erik Villeius added: “Bonnier have been looking at publishing a UK version for a long time and after the recent successful re-launch of our Scandinavian editions, we feel the time is now right to hit the UK market.
“We are very excited about the launch and are looking forward to the UK readership becoming as passionate and enthused about it as others are worldwide."
