The Herald and Times Group has launched a new free magazine called Scottish Cycling.
The quarterly title covers all aspects of cycling from mountain biking and road rides to easy paced days out with the kids.
Distributed throughout February, Scottish Cycling will have a print run of 50,000 copies and will be available across major cities including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Stirling.
The distribution network will consist of over 500 outlets, including major bike retailers, outdoor and camping shops, leisure centres, gymnasiums, sports cafes and schools.
The magazine also comes in a free digital e-edition format which is available to read on all mobile and tablet devices including the iPad and iPhone.
Magazine Publisher Darren Bruce said: “Following Britain’s recent successes at the Tour de France and the London Olympics, we anticipate that cycling in the UK will continue to go from strength to strength.
“The launch of Scottish Cycling now bridges a gap in the market that helps visualise Scotland’s beautiful landscapes from two wheels, whilst encouraging everyone to become fit, active and healthier.”
