Immediate Media Food Division appoints new Publisher

Lorna East has been appointed as the new Publisher of the Immediate Media Food Group.

East joins from a publisher role at BBC Worldwide and previously worked for Seven, publishing magazine, and she also looked after the Sky Movies and Odeon magazine accounts at Future.

She will take on responsibility for the BBC Good Food and Olive brands.

Alfie Lewis, Group Publishing Director, Contract and Customer Publishing, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lorna to the business. She has the perfect mix of contract and consumer experience and is as comfortable with digital as she is the nuances of the newsstand.

“This will come in useful as we maintain leadership in print as well as expand Good Food’s digital footprint.”
