PPA Scotland was founded in 1998 with five member companies: Scottish Business Insider, Carnyx Group, The List, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and The National Trust for Scotland. Membership has now grown to 26 publishing companies. In addition, an increasing number of industry suppliers from across the UK support the work of PPA Scotland.
PPA Scotland is an integral part of PPA and the Business Manager is a staff member of PPA London. An Executive Committee comprising chairman, vice-chairman and immediate past-chairmen work with the PPA Scotland Business Manager to formulate the annual business plan. All members of PPA Scotland are entitled to attend quarterly meetings and to vote on proposals put forward by the Executive Committee.
