The PPA's CEO Barry McIlheney and event moderator Jim Bilton of Wessenden Marketing welcomed the delegates and set out the agenda for the day.

The PPA’s Retail Marketing Group (RMG) then outlined its focus for 2012 before the newly-appointed PPA Chairman Kevin Hand gave an address on retailing from the publishing industry's perspective.
Other speakers included Ed Garner from the Kantar World Panel and Radio Times Editor Ben Preston, who presented a session on magazine brands and multi-platforms.
The forum ended with a panel session with some of the top names from across the publishing and retailing industries.
