With many finishing houses set to introduce new rates to cover the April 2016 introduction of the new National Living Wage, it’s the perfect time for publishers to explore potential cost savings.

There’s certainly money to be saved by switching operations to Abstrakt, where we’re ready to lend a hand – by endorsing a hands-off approach! Flexible operating systems and investment in the latest automated machine technology, much of it unique to Abstrakt, means we can polywrap gifts and gimmicks that would traditionally have been bagged by hand – quickly, efficiently and best of all, cost-effectively.

Toys, cosmetics, clothes, nappies, flip flops, knitting needles – we’ve done it all. And if we haven’t, we’d love to try! Already renowned for polywrapping millions of magazines, brochures and partworks, we can wrap anything between 340 & 420mm (and up to 60mm high).

Depending on volume and frequency we’re confident we can offer cost savings of between 20-30%, as recently experienced by major publishing house DC Thomson, whose decision to switch their children’s and craft titles from handbagging to Abstrakt’s machine wrap generated savings in excess of £100k.

Sound like a deal worth bagging? To find out how Abstrakt could wrap up a better deal for you call 0121 380 2600 or email tony@abstrakt.co.uk.
