Andy will step down from the role on July 31 2021 to pursue other interests and Jane will join on 2nd August 2021.

Jane has over 25 years of industry experience, including 18 years at B2B data and information business Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc, where she was responsible for running Euromoney Learning Solutions and Institutional Investor & Hedge Fund Intelligence, before becoming Group Chief Marketing Officer in 2016.

In her role as Managing Director, Jane will bring deep expertise in subscription revenue modelling and leading businesses in times of digital and data transformation.

She will be responsible for developing The Lawyer's customer-centric approach and building on its recent transition into a multi-channel digital platform as part of Centaur's MAP23 strategy.

Centaur said The Lawyer has a central role to play in delivering its MAP23 strategy of achieving more than £45m in revenue and an EBITDA margin of 23% by 2023. It is a priority for investment and resource allocation alongside Econsultancy, Influencer Intelligence and Mini MBA.

Over the course of Andy Baker's near four-year tenure, The Lawyer has transformed its business model and revenue mix to become a multi-faceted subscription-based information provider with a strong digital presence.
